Bidding will continue on Saturday for most online items. These seven - including AirPods, Apple TV, and a KitchenAid mixer - are online-only.
Tips for Finding Items You Want Online
1. Items are listed alphabetically by their title.
2. Across the top is a bar that says "All Items." Click on it to filter items.
3. When you find something you like, click on the heart to save it to your "watched" items. Then you can filter on your watchlist.
How to Bid on Items Online:
Create an account on 32auctions by entering your name and email address (no financial information is needed)
There are two types of bids:
Exact bid - enter the exact amount you want to bid
Proxy bid - enter the highest amount you would be willing to pay. The system will bid for you, up to your maximum proxy bid amount, as additional bids are entered on the item.
Enter your bid and click 'Place my Bid.' If you want to ensure that you win an item, you may choose to 'Buy Now' at a higher price.
Online to In-Person:
Join us for the in-person portion! We will start with a silent auction in the church sanctuary, beginning at 5:00 pm. Tables will begin closing by 5:30, so come early and bid often!
Fellowship Hall will open at 6:00 pm for refreshments and fun. The live auction - with several exciting events to bid on - will begin at 6:30 pm. There will be two paddle raises this year - one to buy a play structure for the "littles" area, and the other to replace the church signs at the entrance.
All of the winning bids will need to be entered into the system. If you attend VHUMC, we would appreciate it if you could wait until Sunday morning to complete your winning transactions. Thank you in advance for your patience!
