We will be using themes from the life of St. Patrick as our topic. Wear green if you have it.

Click on this Zoom link to participate with video and audio (you must have a camera and microphone on your device.)

You may also watch (and comment) live on Facebook if you are “Friends” with Pastor Bo.  The worship service will also be available on our YouTube channel afterwards.

March 17 VHUMC St. Patrick’s Gathering

Welcome

The Prayer of St. Patrick

Christ, be with me,
Christ before me,
Christ behind me,
Christ in me,
Christ beneath me, Christ above me,
Christ on my right, Christ on my left.
Christ when I lie, Christ when I sit,
Christ when I arise,
Christ in the heart of every one who thinks of me,
Christ in the mouth of every one who speaks of me,
Christ in every eye that sees me.
Christ in every ear that hears me.
Salvation is of the Lord,
Salvation is of the Lord,
Salvation is of the Christ,
May your salvation, O Lord, be ever with us.
Amen.

L: The Lord is your light and your salvation.
P: Even though everything around us is disturbing, yet God’s love is constant. Thanks be to God. AMEN.

Morning Prayer

Lord, we come to you this morning with so many concerns and issues that demand our attention. Our lives are burdened; our spirits are tired. Guide our lives and our steps as we walk this Lenten journey, inward and outward. Help us to discern what you would have us do, that others may be healed. In Christ’s name, we pray. AMEN.
