Staying Connected

A big THANK YOU to everyone that helped make the 2018 VHUMC Auction a fabulous success. It’s impossible to offer an event like this without contributions from almost every member of the church community.   For example, multiple dinners sold for $500 or more, family label wine totaling $125, $130 for an afternoon with a handyman, and $825 for Portland Center Stage tickets!  Additionally, over 120 Silent Auction items such as, gift cards, beer, jewelry, gift baskets and vast array of homemade items all totaling over $2400 were sold! Again, congratulation to ALL who participated.

The good news is that the auction isn’t over so it’s not too late to get in on the action!

Signups sheets for events that still have openings can be found in the Church Narthex. Examples include: The Winter Dinner, God in the Garden, Movie Night, Hike-n-Dine, Fun and Games Night, Tea Time with a Beginner, Hand and Foot Party, and more. Sign up for your favorite event and see Susan Zotter for payment…Don’t delay!
