All Church Work Party
Our last chance to spruce up the interior before we resume worship in the sanctuary.  Join us at 9:00 am this Saturday, Sep 11.  Here are some tasks that need to be completed:

  • Bring a lint brush and clean the bottoms of the green banners, which are hanging in the sanctuary
  • Organize the nametags by last name
  • Wash the walls where the roof leaked (above the coatrack in the entry and in the chapel)

ImBible Study
Beginning on Wednesday, Sep 15, we will be studying women in the bible.  Our new time is 6:30 pm, both in-person in the Fireside Room and in our usual Zoom room.  We will read every story in the bible involving women, using a light-hearted commentary and a serious text.  No book purchase is necessary.

Our music director, Joy Wegner, is retiring after 21 years at VHUMC!  If you’d like to contribute to a monetary gift for Joy, please mark your check or online donation for her.  We will be having a celebration of her ministry on Sep 19 during and following worship at 10:30 am.
