Ministry Fair
August 29 is a Fifth Sunday!  We thought it would be fun to have a ministry fair.  It’s an opportunity for any church group, such as Habitat for Humanity, Trustees, Talk N Thought, to publicize who they are and what they do.  Even more importantly, it’s an opportunity for those who are looking for small group connection to see what’s available.  If your group would like space at a table, please email the church office.

Virtual Trip to Kenya
The Oregon-Idaho Conference United Methodist Volunteers in Mission team is hosting a virtual mission trip to the Maua Methodist Hospital in Kenya on Aug. 16, 18 and 19 from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. PDT (6 to 7:30 p.m. in Kenya). The pandemic has made traditional mission trips nearly impossible, but it’s “virtually possible” to learn about the services offered, the AIDS Orphan Home project, kitchen gardens, and other community outreach projects.  Register here to attend the Kenya Virtual Mission trip.

Hard Hat and Black Tie
Habitat for Humanity Portland Region is working to triple the number of people in safe, affordable homes. Their annual benefit will be on Friday, Sep 17.  It will be a virtual event where you can hear stories from our community and learn how we can all be a part of building strength, stability and independence through affordable homeownership.  There is also an online auction.  Learn more by clicking here
