Ten Tiny Prayers
Our mid-week check-in is undergoing some exciting changes!  We will now meet via Zoom at noon on Wednesdays.  Bo will lead us in prayer using ten tiny prompts, followed by conversation. Join us during your lunch break for 15 minutes of uplifting community.  Or watch the video, found on our website, our Facebook page, and our YouTube channel, whenever it’s convenient for you!

Worship Schedule
Here is the worship schedule for the rest of the summer.  All services are at 10:00 am:

  • Aug 15, 22, 29:  Outdoor services in the circle
  • Sep 5:  Outdoor service for communion Sunday; bring your own bread and beverage

Please note: if the weather isn’t cooperating for an outdoor service, we will move indoors to the Fellowship Hall.  Indoors, we ask you to mask up.

Ministry Fair
We’re having a MInistry Fair after worship on August 29. It’s an opportunity for any church group, such as Habitat for Humanity, Trustees, Talk N Thought, to publicize who they are and what they do.  Even more importantly, it’s an opportunity for those who are looking for small group connection to see what’s available.  If your group would like space at a table, please email the church office.

Native Plant Sale for Neighborhood House
Sparrowhawk Native Plants and the Westside Watershed Resource Center are putting on a native plant sale to benefit Neighborhood House’s youth programs! Plants will go on sale Aug 15 thru Sep 15, with plant pick-up Oct 1 & 2 at St. Luke Lutheran Church.  Click here to learn more and buy your plants starting August 15

Hard Hat and Black Tie
Habitat for Humanity Portland Region is working to triple the number of people in safe, affordable homes. Their annual benefit will be on Friday, Sep 17.  It will be a virtual event where you can hear stories from our community and learn how we can all be a part of building strength, stability and independence through affordable homeownership.  There is also an online auction.  Learn more by clicking here

2022 Calendars
Do you receive excess calendars in the mail?  Bring them to church and Donna Ward will take them to Neighborhood House for distribution.  Thanks!
