“A Night at the Opera” Auction News  This continues to be a conversation and a challenge to be met.  If you have items that you would like to donate, please contact the church office.  We’re currently planning to offer them online.  We need 20+ to offer before we can set a new date.

Giving  We have a new method of giving, the mobile app GivePlus.  Download the free app and find our church by entering the zip code, 97221, or Vermont Hills United Methodist.  If you already use our online giving, enter that username and password, or create a new account.  You can give either from your bank account or a credit card.  You have the option to add 1 – 2.65% to offset the fees charged to the church.
We are dropping the giving by text but you may still mail your check (address below), set up an auto payment through your bank, or give online at  Thank you!

Oregon Food Bank  We have been notified that the food bank is not accepting groups of volunteers at this time, so our May 2 visit will be rescheduled.  Watch for the new date.

Virtual Day Camp  The next best thing to being at camp, presented by the United Methodist Camps.  Each day, campers can log in and follow a day camp session, exploring topics such as Spiritual Development, Nature Exploration, STEM, Music, Art, Social/Emotional Learning, Exercise, and more. Although it’s primarily for kids, you might want to watch the “Twelve Days of Lockdown” song.

Mondays with the DS  Our District Superintendent, Erin Martin, is leading an hour of scripture, prayer, and sharing every Monday at noon.  Join her here.

Amazon Smile  Do you shop online? Amazon will donate a small percentage to VHUMC for every eligible purchase.  You must designate Vermont Hills as your charity of choice and start at every visit.  Contact the church office with any questions.

Fred Meyer Community Rewards  If you shop at Freddy’s, please make sure to link your FM Rewards card with Vermont Hills United Methodist Church (code SY323) and the church will receive a percentage of all your purchases.  It costs you nothing and you still receive all your usual benefits.

Talk N Thought  The “dynamite” ladies of TnT are meeting in the parking lot when the weather cooperates (see photo below.)  If you’d like to be notified when they plan to meet, please email Linda Miller.
