Talk N Thought  The ladies of TnT have just begun a new book, The Book of Forgiving: The Fourfold Path for Healing Ourselves and Our World.  Written by Desmond Tutu and his daughter, Mpho, an Anglican priest, it “lays out the simple but profound truths about the significance of forgiveness, how it works, why everyone needs to know how to grant it and receive it, and why granting forgiveness is the greatest gift we can give to ourselves when we have been wronged.”  If you’ve been considering joining TnT, now is the perfect time. They meet every Tuesday at 1:00 pm in the Fireside Room and also online (Zoom room 966 225 0807, Passcode: VHUMC)  For more information, please contact Linda Miller or the church office.

Prayer Chain  Email your prayer requests to PrayerVHUMC@gmail.com. If you do not have access to email, you may call Linda Miller at 503.699.8628.  The ‘Prayers of the People’ is crafted weekly from this information; please indicate if your prayer is private.
