It’s a Party! After worship this Sunday, let’s gather in Fellowship Hall to celebrate our lay leader, Roger Turk, as he marks his 80th birthday! Happy Birthday, Roger!
Scrip This Sunday There are only two more opportunities to buy gift cards for Christmas! And you can also purchase cards to cover Christmas meals, decorating, crafts, travel… The church receives a percentage from the retailers; you get full value. Check out the specials this month for Baja Fresh and Columbia. Print the attached form, bring your check/checkbook on Sunday November 11th. Scrip will be distributed on the following Sunday.
A Prayer for Health, Healing, and Wholeness This Sunday at 6:00 pm, we will have a special service for our physical and mental well-being. Come. Restore your soul, your health, and your spirit.
Town Hall Meeting The Finance Team will be providing us with coffee and treats as we take a little time after worship on Sunday, Nov 18, to celebrate 2018 and anticipate 2019.
Thanksgiving Food Drive Our annual event for Hayhurst Elementary has begun! Simply take the tags for the items you will purchase and return the food by Nov 18. Dozens of Hayhurst families will benefit from your generosity.
Bach is Back The Bach Cantata Choir will perform their first concert of their 14th season on Sunday, Nov 18, at 2 pm at Rose City Park Presbyterian Church, 1907 NE 45th Ave. Hear works by J. S. Bach, Heinrich Schütz, and Henry Purcell. The concert is FREE.
Wreath Sale Our weekday friends, the Southwest Parent Child Collective, are having a fundraiser. Beautify your home and support the SWPCC! Order forms are available in Fellowship Hall; due by Nov 11. Wreaths will be delivered on Nov 20.
Spotlight On… Neighborhood House! Since 1905, Neighborhood House has been bringing the community together to help neighbors in need. They assist families facing hunger and homelessness, vulnerable seniors, and children who need help in school. See their Winter Wishes List at http://nhpdx.org/Events/events.html.
Grocery Bags Needed Our Hayhurst Backpack Ministry uses 24 bags per week to pack food for children who might otherwise go hungry over the weekends. Please bring any large paper bags with handles to church. Save and bring them all year!

Progressive Bible Study We’re reading the book of Hebrews. We’ve had new folks join us every week, so it’s not too late for you to chime in. In the Fireside Room on Wednesdays at 7:00 pm. You *will* come away with a new way to look at the Bible.
Talk N Thought The “dynamite” ladies of TnT would love to have you join them every Tuesday at 1:00 pm in the Fireside Room. They are reading “I Am Malala.” Expect great conversation, yummy snacks, and reading/discussing insightful books.
