Scrip Sunday is THIS Sunday. This church fundraiser does not cost you anything. Scrip is purchased at the value of the gift card, and the church receives the percentage listed on the form.
Purchase only cards that you use or give as gifts for birthdays, a thank you, anniversaries, etc.
Bring the attached order form and a check to the Fellowship Hall following Sunday service. Or leave order and check in the office to be processed on Sunday.
Next SCRIP SUNDAYS are April 22nd, May 20th, and June 10th. Pick up Scrip the following Sunday. Plan ahead!!

SW Hope Food Drive – Feb 11 – Apr 14, Neighborhood House is holding their Annual Food Drive, in partnership with the Oregon Food Bank. For every $1 donated, 4 lbs of nutritious food can be purchased. For more information, please visit the website: http://www.nhpdx.org/SWHope/SWHope.html

Easter Week is 3 Weeks Away : This year we are going to have three services:
- Wednesday Night – a combined Holy Wednesday and Maundy Thursday meal/worship service at 7pm.
- Good Friday – a 7pm Tenebrae service where we descend into darkness through the 7 stations of the cross.
- Easter Morning – Christ is Risen! 10:30am worship service Please put these 3 services on your calendar and plan to attend. They will each be unique and deeply meaningful.
- Youth Easter Breakfast – Please join the Youth at 9am for breakfast in Fellowship Hall. Donations support the Youth mission trip this summer. Following will be an Easter Egg Hunt.
Prayer Chain – if you have a prayer request, or want to be added to have prayer requests sent to you so that you can pray – email: PrayerVHUMC@gmail.com The ‘prayers of the people’ is crafter each week from this information.
