1 SW Hope Food Drive – Feb 11 – Apr 14, Neighborhood House is holding their Annual Food Drive, in partnership with the Oregon Food Bank. For every $1 donated, 4 lbs of nutritious food can be purchased. To donate online and for more information, please visit the website:

2 Trustee’s Sponsored Work Party – We will meet at the Church on Saturday, March 3rd, at 10am to do general maintenance and light cleaning. All are welcome!

3 Easter Week is 4 Weeks Away: In one month we will be celebrating Easter week. This year we are going to have three services:
Wednesday Night – a combined Holy Wednesday and Maundy Thursday meal/worship service at 7pm.

Good Friday – a 7pm Tenebrae service where we descend into darkness through the 7 stations of the cross.

Easter Morning – Christ is Risen! 10:30am worship service Please put these 3 services on your calendar and plan to attend. They will each be unique and deeply meaningful.

Youth Easter Breakfast – Please join the Youth at 9am for breakfast in Fellowship Hall. Donations support the Youth mission trip this summer. Following will be an Easter Egg Hunt.

5 Adult Sunday School – Mar 4 – W is for WordOfGod. Mar 11 – X is for XRay. Come join us at 9am in the Fireside Room. 6 Online Giving – We have added an option for online giving for those who would like to move to online giving, we have partnered with a great company (Vanco). They provided an easy interface and security for churches. Our website now has a page with simple instructions and user links for your convenience at: It is easy to use and very secure.

7 Progressive Bible Study – The gospel of Mark has been eye opening! We are in chapter 8 already. Every Wednesday night at 7pm in the Fireside Room we. Join us and explore the gospel of Mark through a 21st century lens. It might look very different than it did before.
