Thank You!  Bo and CJ would like to thank everyone for their prayers, meals, and financial and emotional support during CJ’s recovery.

Good Sam  We’re starting something new! On the Fifth Sundays (like this Sunday), our spare change offering will go towards our Good Samaritan Fund, to be used for those in need within our neighborhood.  The fund is currently empty, so please be generous.

Fifth Sunday Game Night  This Sunday from 4:00 – 6:00 pm, gather in the Fireside Room for card and board games, potluck snacks, and great fun!

Photo Directory  We will continue to take photos on Sunday mornings through Easter, just in case you have a CEO (Christmas and Easter Only) family member.  You may also email a photo to the church office, if you prefer.

UMCOR Sunday  This Sunday we have the opportunity to donate to the United Methodist Committee On Relief (UMCOR).  UMCOR responds to emergencies and disasters all over the world; see more at http://www.umcgiving.org/UMCOR.  Please mark your additional giving with UMCOR in the memo field.

All Church Work Party  Saturday, April 6, is our last work party before Easter.  Let’s spruce up our beautiful church and grounds for visitors!  We’ll gather at 10:00 am and be done by lunch.  There’s something for everyone to do.

SW Hope Food Drive  This annual event benefits the emergency food pantry at Neighborhood House.  Cash donations are particularly appreciated, since they can purchase four pounds of food for every dollar given.  Checks may be made out to VHUMC with SW Hope in the lower left corner.  Learn more at http://www.nhpdx.org/SWHope/SWHope.html
